（路透華盛頓12日電）美國佛羅里達州奧蘭多市1家同志夜店今天爆發槍擊案，凶嫌馬丁（Omar Mateen）使用的武器，與加州槍擊案及康乃狄克州小學血案等凶器類型相同，皆是有軍事風格的半自動步槍。

根據雜誌「瓊斯夫人」（Mother Jones）整理的統計資料，突擊步槍在美國每年平均3萬槍枝死亡案例中僅占一小部分，但自2011年以來，至少10起大規模槍擊案犯案武器都是突擊步槍。

2012年12月康乃狄克州新鎮（Newtown）桑迪胡克小學（Sandy Hook Elementary School）槍擊案，凶手藍札（Adam Lanza）使用的是大毒蛇半自動步槍（Bushmaster）XM15。

2015年12月加州聖伯納地諾（San Bernardino）槍擊案，法魯克（Syed Farook）和馬里克（TashfeenMalik）使用2把突擊步槍和2把手槍屠殺14人。

2012年科羅拉多州電影院槍擊案，槍手霍姆斯（James Holmes）殺害12人時攜帶1把突擊步槍、1把獵槍和2把手槍。

佛州同志夜店槍擊案造成至少50死53傷，執法官員表示，犯案的29歲阿富汗裔美國公民馬丁攜帶至少1把AR-15型突擊步槍和1把手槍。中央社（翻譯）
